Terms of Service

This is the platform-wide Terms of Service for the Distinct-app business tools listed below. Rental Ease and Event Hub have their own Terms covering bookings, payments and refunds, which this document does not replace. DareToFish has its own Terms, published on its own site.

Who operates Distinct-app

Distinct-app is a suite of business tools operated by:

What this covers

These Terms apply when you create an account with, or use, any of the following Distinct-app apps:

• Drive Log
• People OS
• ServiceFlow Connect
• Sales Pipeline Lite

• Swift Invoice (QuickBill)
• Logo Maker Genie
• Ops Audit (Kauai Control Center)
• Order Swift
• Mission Control
• Team Connect
• SmartDoc SA

One Distinct-app account can be used to sign in across these apps. Some apps are invite-only or designed for internal/staff use rather than public self-signup — where that's the case, these Terms still apply once you have an account.

Accounts

When you create an account, you may set up your own business/workspace as its owner, or join an existing one via an invite. You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your account credentials secure. If you create a business or workspace, you're responsible for the staff you invite to it and the access you grant them.

Subscriptions and billing

As of the date above, none of the apps listed under "What this covers" have live payment processing connected for platform subscription billing — access is provided directly by Distinct-app, not purchased through an automated checkout. If and when subscription billing is enabled for an app, this section will be updated to name the payment provider and describe how billing, upgrades, downgrades and cancellations work.

Acceptable use

• Do not use any Distinct-app app for any unlawful purpose.
• Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access to another business's, workspace's, or user's account or data.
• Do not disrupt or attempt to interfere with the platform's normal operation.
• Do not use the platform to send unlawful, abusive, or unsolicited communications.

Your data and content

You keep ownership of the information and content you or your business enters into a Distinct-app app. You grant Distinct-app the rights needed to store, process, and display that information back to you as part of providing the app. See the Privacy Notice for how personal information is handled, and the Subprocessors page for who else processes it on Distinct-app's behalf.

Availability

Distinct-app apps are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We aim to keep the platform available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, and features may change, be added, or be removed over time.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, DNF Financial Services (Pty) Ltd is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of a Distinct-app app, or for decisions made using information generated by an app (for example, financial summaries, reports, or AI-assisted output) without independent verification.

Termination

You may stop using an app at any time. Distinct-app may suspend or terminate access to an account that breaches these Terms, or where required by law. Where a business/workspace account is closed, associated data is handled according to the Data Retention Schedule.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of a Distinct-app app after an update means you accept the revised terms. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
